What grades and subjects does Skolvio cover?
Skolvio covers Grades 4–12 across 25 subjects including Math, English, Science, French, History, Geography, Business Studies, Computer Science, and more. All content is aligned to the Ontario curriculum, with California and Texas curricula coming soon.
How is this different from Khan Academy or YouTube?
Skolvio doesn’t just show videos — it actively teaches. Each lesson has 3 teaching sections with comprehension checks, followed by practice problems with step-by-step feedback. The AI adapts its tone to your child’s grade level and re-explains concepts when they struggle.
Is my child’s data safe?
Yes. We comply with COPPA (US) and PIPEDA (Canada). We don’t show ads to children, don’t sell data, and don’t use your child’s data for AI training. Child PINs are encrypted, sessions are secured with httpOnly cookies, and parents have full control to review or delete their child’s data anytime.
Can I have multiple children on one account?
Yes. Each additional child is $15/month. Each child gets their own login, their own AI tutor (they even name it!), and their own progress tracking. You see all children on one parent dashboard.
What if my child gets stuck?
The AI tutor provides step-by-step explanations for every wrong answer. If a child fails the practice section (below 7/10), they get a fresh set of questions to try again — no penalty, just more practice. They can also do unlimited practice sessions at Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulty.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, no questions asked. Cancel from your dashboard or billing portal. You keep access until the end of your billing period. There are no cancellation fees or long-term contracts.
How does the free trial work?
You get full access to every feature for 2 weeks at no cost. A credit card is required at signup, but you won’t be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime during the trial and pay nothing.
What curricula are supported?
Ontario (Canada) is fully loaded with 1,800+ lessons across all subjects. California (CCSS) and Texas (TEKS) curricula are coming soon. We also offer IB-aligned content designed for IB students (PYP, MYP, DP).
Does my child need any special equipment?
Just a computer, tablet, or phone with a web browser. Voice input works in Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox. The drawing canvas works on any device with a touchscreen or mouse.
Can I see what my child is learning?
Absolutely. Your parent dashboard shows every lesson completed, every exam taken, stars earned, and practice session results. You also get weekly email summaries and monthly AI-generated progress reports.
